Robert C. Floros, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Floros is board-certified in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery by the American College of Podiatric Medicine, with separate certifications by the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. After he was graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Pediatric Medicine in 1984, Dr. Floros completed his surgical residencies at the JFK University Medical System in New Jersey and the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is an attending physician in the Main Line Health System, (Bryn Mawr, and Paoli), and at the Bryn Mawr Hospital Wound Healing Center.

During the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Floros performed emergency medical triage at the World Trade Center from September 11-12, 2001 and presently staffs the foot and ankle clinic for the medical underserved community of Smith Island, Maryland.
 

Dr. Floros provides podiatric medicine with advanced wound care in remote areas and has a very busy practice with Wanda Floros, Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine in Smith Island, Ewell, Maryland 21824.

He has been published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and The Lower Extremity. For many years he served as adjunct professor of Anatomy at Temple University. He taught Biology and Physiology at Cabrini College.
